What is GSRP?

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is funded by the State of Michigan to ensure every 4-year-old has access to preschool at no cost to families.

GSRP classrooms provide a safe, welcoming, and academically enriching environment where children learn:

• How to get along with others, share, take turns, and build friendships

• Early math, reading, and problem-solving skills through fun, hands-on activities

• Independence, confidence, and a love for learning

GSRP helps prepare children to enter kindergarten ready to succeed—and thrive in the years ahead.
