Join PIG OUT! – a family-friendly culinary contest. Like to cook/bake? Enter to win $200 and get your recipe featured in the new SOCS Food Service catalog. Love food? Come celebrate God’s faithfulness to South Olive Christian School with an evening dedicated to delicious eats and family fun.

Share your culinary brilliance and submit your jaw-dropping recipes for a chance to be featured in the new SOCS Food Service catalog and a $200 cash prize.

While the grown-ups cast their votes or enjoy the Pie Eating Contest, the kids will have a blast on the inflatables. But that’s not all! We have a special treat for everyone – Joy from JOY99 and her Joy Bus will be joining us, spreading joy throughout the event.
Taste
Come hungry and get ready to treat your taste buds. In addition to the delectable samples prepared by the PIG OUT! contestants, we are featuring Orlando & Co. Catering to offer you an even wider array of culinary delights. Your event ticket includes your meal.
Attire
Casual, comfortable & ready to Pig Out! Don’t forget a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the outdoor activities.

Is this an Indoor or Outdoor Event?
BOTH! PIG OUT! takes place both outside and inside South Olive Christian School. The culinary contest and award presentation will take place inside the school. All other activities take place outside the school. Unless there is inclement weather, all event activities will take place as on time. Dress is casual and comfortable and ready to PIG OUT!
How should I dress for PIG OUT!?
This is a casual, family style event. Please plan to bring lawn chairs and blankets so your family is comfortable during the evening’s events. Dress is casual and comfortable.
Pigs-in-the-Blanket Eating Contest
Pigs-in-the-Blanket Eating Contest will take place outside around 5:40pm. Contestants will be permitted to use the following dipping sauces – ketchup, mustard, maple syrup or water. Contestants will have 3 minutes to eat as many Pigs-in-the-Blanket as possible.
Pie Eating Contest
The Pie Eating Contest will take place after the Pig-in-the-Blanket contest. Contestants will enjoy scarfing down South Olive CRC Grandma’s Pies. Contestants will receive 1/4 of a pie. Flavor determined at the event. No hands or forks may be used. Winner will be determined but pie eaten in the fastest time. Contestants will receive more information at event check-in.
What's included in the ticket price?
Your PIG OUT! ticket includes dinner, a vote in the PIG OUT! Culinary Contest, entrance in the eating contests (pie & Pig-in-the-Blanket), and family fun area.
If you purchase a Family Ticket, you receive one (1) PIG OUT! Culinary Contest vote to case as a family. You may purchase more votes when you purchase you tickets.

We live in a challenging and uncertain 21st Century. South Olive Christian School partners with families to raise up the next generation of fearless Kingdom builders. For 70 years, SOCS families have believed access to a Christ-centered education that fosters a love for Jesus Christ should be accessible to ALL regardless of economic means.

The relationship that children have with their Lord and Savior is developed and strengthened at home and in the classroom.
